About

Greetings, and happy Day of the Indie to you! Hello, We’re Chris and Tammy and we created this site to give a voice to indie game designers.

Ever since I can recall, video games have been one of my greatest interests. I’ve always been interested in video games because of the freedom of expression, the sense of accomplishment, and the total immersion they provide, whether playing on an old Nintendo Entertainment System or a cutting-edge Computer or console.

Independent game developers have grown in significance to me as a person and as a gamer over the years. In the video game industry, it is often the smaller studios and independent developers who are responsible for developing the cutting-edge gameplay mechanics, jaw-dropping visuals, and engrossing experiences that captivate players all over the world.

This is why I started celebrating Day of the Indie. I set out to build a hub where independent video game creators could promote their games, network with fans and peers, and expand their fan bases. I’m dedicated to the success of independent game developers because I think they’re creating a necessary and exciting part of the gaming business.

To aid independent game makers in their pursuit of success, Day of the Indie provides a variety of tools and resources. To foster cooperation and new ideas among programmers, we regularly organize game jams and other activities. To help more people discover games, we offer marketing and advertising services. Further, we provide a community of developers and specialists who are happy to share their knowledge and experience with you.

However, our services extend far beyond the realm of coders. Players can count on us, too. It’s no secret that many players are on the lookout for fresh challenges, and we here at The Escapists know that indie games are frequently the best spot to find them. That’s why we’re committed to spreading awareness of and exposure to independent games among gamers everywhere.

If you’re a game designer who wants more exposure for their game, a gamer who wants to discover their next beloved game, or a gamer who just wants to show their support for the indie community, Day of the Indie is for you.

Although I am pleased with our progress thus far, I am aware that there is always room for improvement in our efforts to market indie games and the developers who create them. I look forward to where the future of Day of the Indie takes us and invite you to come along for the ride.
